Frequently Asked Questions

*What if I need more coaching sessions? You have the option to continue for an additional 3 or 6 months at discounted rate based.

*What if I want to cancel my coaching sessions before the required months are complete? You will be required to submit a written request to cancel remaining coaching sessions, stating valid reasons for cancellation. Please keep in mind NO monies will be refunded for the sessions that you have already received and paid for in advance.

*What forms of payments are accepted? Zelle, PayPal and Square. Once you have chosen your form of payment then that is the one for the duration of your services. The client will be responsible for fees that may be charged by these payment platforms. The payments will be set up for automatic withdrawal on due date specified. Insufficient funds or denial of payment will result in extra fees and delay of coaching services.

*What if I miss one of the virtual workshops that I paid for? You will be allowed to attend another one w/o incurring another charge. However, you must have done so within 2 months, or it will be forfeited.

*Can I take screenshots during the virtual workshops to share with others who didn't attend? Ask yourself how fair it is to you as well as other parents who made a financial and/or time investment? This is PROHIBITED in order to protect and preserve the integrity of content the coach is sharing and uses in the coaching program. This information is PROHIBITED from being shared with those who didn't pay or take the time out of their day to attend.

*Do you guarantee that your coaching program will make my child better? The goal of parent emotional intelligence coaching is not to "make your child better" or "fix your child". The goal is to support you, the parent, with helping your child with becoming more aware of their emotions and how to navigate those emotions in healthy and confident ways. There are NO guarantees!

Can I use this to diagnose my child for a learning disability or for mental health therapy? NO, I am operating in the capacity of a coach and NOT a medical doctor, psychologist or therapist. My coaching is NOT used to diagnose a child with a learning disability. If it is shared that your child has an IEP, FBA, 504 Plan or is under the care of a therapist, then I reserve the right to decline to provide coaching services. Why? My coaching is NOT therapy or a substitute for therapy. Also, it's important to maintain the integrity of those goals already set in place by your child's IEP, FBA, 504 Plan or therapist.

Can you help me fix my child's behavior? As your Emotional Intelligence Coach, I help you to see, hear and understand what your child's behavior maybe communicating to you. However, I am not "fixing" and do not claim to "fix" a child's behaviors. I am here to support you and equip you with tools and resources to grow and nurture yours and your child's emotional intelligence and emotional resilience.

Why are you coaching the parent instead of the child? You are your child's first teacher. The single most important thing your child needs from you is emotional support. Also, your child is ultimately YOUR responsibility, and they look to you for stability, safety, and nurturing. Doesn't every parent want to be equipped with tools and resources to be a Wellness Champion for their child? It's your opportunity to tap into, harness, and cultivate your child's emotional intelligence and emotional resilience.

*Do you accept insurance? No, insurance is not accepted as a form of payment.

Why do I have to sign a coaching contract? You are being asked to sign a coaching contract for several reasons:

1. Clarity and Expectations: The contract outlines the scope of the coaching relationship, including the goals, responsibilities of both parties, and the duration of the coaching sessions. This ensures that both the coach and the parent are clear about what to expect from each other.

2. Commitment: Signing a contract signifies a commitment from both the coach and the parent to actively participate in the coaching process. It reinforces the parent's dedication to working on their emotional intelligence and parenting skills.

3. Confidentiality: The contract typically includes clauses about confidentiality, ensuring that the parent's personal information and discussions remain private and secure within the coaching relationship.

4. Boundaries and Guidelines: The contract establishes boundaries and guidelines for communication, scheduling, and payment, which helps maintain a professional and respectful coaching environment.

5. Legal Protection: Having a signed contract can provide legal protection for both the coach and the parent in case of any misunderstandings or disputes that may arise during the coaching relationship.

Overall, a coaching contract serves as a framework for a successful coaching partnership, promoting trust, accountability, and progress towards the parent's goals.
